TFWA reveals social events programme

The TFWA World Exhibition & Conference has revealed the line-up for its social and leisure activities programme in Cannes.

The Opening Cocktail Party is a highlight of the TFWA events programme

The trade show, taking place from 30 September to 5 October at the Palais des Festival, will kick off its social events with the Opening Cocktail party where guests can network at the Carlton Beach from 7.30pm on the Sunday.

The evening will conclude with an extravagant firework display over the bay.

Held Monday to Thursday from 10pm-2am, The Scene at Plage du Palais des Festivals will see top DJs entertain guests after a busy day. Delegates can also also enjoy a drink and sea views at the venue’s Sixties-themed lounge.

Le Premium Evening at Port Canto on Thursday will host the cast of Broadway show The Illusionists, along with world-renowned French chef Romain Gandolphe who will perform his ‘trompe l’oeil’ cuisine.

The show’s leisure activities programme will start on Sunday with a Golf Tournament held in partnership with Qatar Duty Free at the Royal Mougins Golf Club.

A regular fixture to the social calendar is the Regatta, sponsored by Paul & Shark on Sunday from 9am-2pm at the Bay of Cannes.

There will also be two open-air yoga sessions, held the Plage du Festival from 9am-11.30am on Sunday.

A Pétanque Tournament will also be held at Place de l’Etang on Sunday. Coaches for the tournament will depart from the Marriott Hotel at 9.15am.
