Gallois leaves Pernod Ricard’s Gin Hub
Sophie Gallois has stepped down as managing director of Pernod Ricard’s Gin Hub as part of another executive reshuffle at the group.

Gallois, who joined The Gin Hub as managing director when the unit launched in July 2017, will not take on another role within Pernod Ricard.
Louise Ryan, currently Pernod Ricard’s managing director for Ireland, has been appointed head of The Gin Hub, which works to drive growth of Beefeater, Beefeater 24 and Plymouth, as well as Seagram’s outside of the US.
Claire Tolen, managing director, brand homes and education at Irish Distillers, has taken over from Ryan and will be responsible for the distribution of Pernod Ricard’s wine and spirits portfolio within the Republic of Ireland. She will report to Conor McQuaid, who became chairman and CEO of Irish Distillers this month.
“Both Claire and Louise have shown exceptional leadership and talent in their previous positions and we know that they will continue to impress in their new roles,” said McQuaid.
In further executive changes, Pernod Ricard UK’s managing director, Laurent Pillet, will become managing director of Pernod Ricard Rouss & Eastern Europe from 1 January.
David Haworth, currently the managing director of Pernod Ricard Germany & Western Europe, will replace Pillet and will report to Gilles Bogaert, chairman and CEO of Pernod Ricard EMEA & LATAM.
The Gin Hub will report to Haworth from 1 January, meaning Pernod Ricard’s UK business will oversee the growth of the group’s global gin portfolio.
The latest announcements follow a raft of executive staffing changes at Pernod Ricard that came into effect on 1 July.
Laurent Lacassagne has been replaced by Irish Distillers chairman and CEO Jean-Christophe Coutures as head of Chivas Brothers, while Christian Porta, former CEO of Pernod Ricard EMEA & LATAM, stepped into the newly created position of managing director, global business development, and was replaced by Bogaert.
