Patrón reshuffles North American sales team

Patrón Spirits International has reshuffled its North American leadership team at the same time as merging a number of sales regions.

(L-R) Marc Roberts and Brian Sullivan will move into new roles in the North American sales team

As part of the re-alignment, the Patrón Northeast and Southeast territories will become the East region, and the current Patrón Great Lakes region and Northwest region will be integrated into an expanded Patrón Central region. New Mexico and Arizona will now transition to the Patrón West region.

Additionally, control states in each of these regions will be grouped and managed separately.

Teresa Herbert will lead the east region as vice president of sales, while Brian Sullivan will become vice president of sales, central.

Joel Selesnick, currently Patrón’s west region assistant vice president has been promoted to the role of vice president of sales, west.

Two new sales leadership positions have also been created. Marc Roberts will become vice president of sales, control states, Canada and strategic accounts, and Danny Primo will be named vice president, commercial excellence and execution. Primo will be responsible for developing and driving national sales platforms, commercial development, and engagement.

Herbert, Sullivan, Roberts and Primo are all currently Patrón regional vice presidents. The new leadership structure will come into effect on 1 July.

All roles will report to Darren Doalson who was recently named Patrón’s vice president, managing director of North American sales.

He said: “I’m extremely proud of our past success at Patrón, but we always need to continue striving for future growth. These leadership changes and new roles I’m confident will allow us to continue building and evolving our business for strong years to come.”
