Edinburgh Gin has launched its first national advertising campaign, encouraging drinkers across the UK to ‘Do Your Gin Thing’.

Edinburgh Gin’s Do Your Gin Thing campaign features seven different executions

The nationwide outdoor and social media campaign will feature across outdoor sites and premium out of home digital sites in numerous UK cities.

The endeavour will be supported online through the brand’s social media platforms, with a particular focus on Instagram.

Do Your Gin Thing will feature seven different executions and is designed to be an “open invitation” for consumers to “have fun and enjoy Edinburgh Gin in their way”.

“It used to be that choice was limited to one or two gin brands,” said Neil Mowat, Edinburgh Gin’s UK marketing director at Ian Macleod Distillers, owner of Edinburgh Gin. “Today the category is driven by a choice of styles, flavours and serves.

“We believe that by producing a varied premium range of gins and gin liqueurs we can offer both the trade and their customers the opportunity to explore different flavours and styles resulting in a varied and vibrant gin drinking experience.”

In April this year, Edinburgh Gin unveiled several new product launches – a pre-mixed gin and tonic range, plus a gin made in partnership with the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh.
