The competition is part of an ongoing H2O Cocktails campaign with UK importer Emporia Brands, and has launched in collaboration with the United Kingdom Bartenders Guild (UKBG).
Staritsky & Levitsky brand manager Matthew Dakers is calling on budding bartenders to create a unique cocktail for the chance to win a rotovap for their bar.
To qualify, their venue must stock Staritsky & Levitsky vodka, and the recipe must include a minimum of 25ml Staritsky & Levitsky Reserve vodka as the base ingredient.
Ingredients can be measured using a measuring cup or jigger, or free poured. Garnishes must consist only of edible fruits or vegetables.
Staritsky & Levitsky Reserve will be provided for the final. Competitors are expected to use their own bar utensils and glassware to prepare the cocktails, and supply their own ingredients.
The judging panel will select competitors from the submitted entries and invite them to participate in a London final on 22 May 2017.
To enter, email the recipe and a short paragraph of between 50 and 100 words explaining the inspiration behind the drink to vicepresident@ukbartendersguild.co.uk.
