Tito’s donates online sales to charity ‘indefinitely’

Tito’s Handmade Vodka will donate 100% of the proceeds from its online store to charitable causes, allowing customers to select their charity of choice from six options at the checkout.

Tito’s Handmade Vodka will donate 100% of the proceeds from its online store to charitable causes

Beginning January 1 and lasting “indefinitely” customers, the new format is said to be “an extension to the company’s continued philanthropic initiatives”.

The partnering charities for quarter one include Emancipet, The Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation, Grammy Foundation, American Red Cross, Operation Homefront and Core.

“Philanthropy has always been something we are extremely passionate about at Tito’s Handmade Vodka, and there is no better way to express this than having 100% of our online store proceeds donated to charities from now on,” said Bert ‘Tito’ Beveridge, founder and master distiller.

“By partnering with six different charities, we’re not only benefiting one good cause, but six — and we are allowing our fans to choose exactly where they want their money going, towards the cause closest to their own hearts.”

All proceeds from dog-related merchandise will automatically be donated to Emancipet, a non-profit organisation that offers pet owners affordable veterinary care.

The Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation supports organisations delivering direct care and services to people living with HIV and AIDS, while the Grammy Foundation aims to cultivate the ‘appreciation and advancement’ of recorded music to American culture.

The American Red Cross ‘prevents and alleviates human suffering’ in emergencies, while Operation Homefront provides military families with an array of support programmes.

The final charity, Core, supports the children of food and beverage employees who are navigating life-altering circumstances or conditions.
