Global Spirits restructures US sales team

Khortytsa vodka-maker Global Spirits has revamped its US sales team following recent growth in the market.

Jim Amstutz (L) and Jose Guerrero have been promoted as part of Global Spirits’ US sales restructure

Recently appointed national sales director north, Jose Guerrero, will expand responsibilities and will now oversee sales for the north, central and eastern regions.

Jim Amstutz, currently national sales director south, will now be responsible for the southern and western regions.

Both Guerrero and Amstutz will lead and expand the company’s sales team and distributor networks with the aim of developing strategic partnerships and sales strategies. They will increase their teams state-by-state to continue to optimise growth.

“Due to an aggressive sales and marketing strategy for our Khortytsa Vodka and Leaf Organic Vodkas, our organisation recently surpassed 100,000 case sales in under 24 months,” said CEO Maxim Dubossarsky.

“In an effort to position the organisation for rapid and continued growth in 2017, we have realigned our sales team to maximize our market opportunity.”

Prior to joining Global Spirits, Guerrero held the role as national sales manager for Anson Imports LLC/7 Mile Spirits LLC managing 13 key markets and a staff of 12.

Amstutz has over 15 years experience in the beverage business and has worked to grow brands including Red Bull, Heineken, and Leblon Cachaça. Since joining global spirits in 2015, he has worked to secure 130% volume gains in one year.

In April 2015 Global Spirits announced it had established a new business unit dedicated to the Americas.
