Loch Lomond Scotch whiskies launch in US
National importer A. Hardy USA has introduced Loch Lomond Distilleries’ Island Collection of three single malt whiskies to the United States.
Loch Lomond’s Island Collection debuts in the US
The Island Collection includes Inchmurrin 12-year-old, Inchmurrin 18-year-old and Inchmurrin Madeira Wood Finish.
Hardy USA president Mark Levinson said: “National distribution is currently being arranged through our distributor network. Daily enquiries regarding Inchmurrin’s availability are already coming in, demonstrating the popularity and potential of this product in the US market.”
Inchmurrin 12-year-old is aged in three hand-selected types of casks and features a distinctively light and fruity nose with a peppery finish. Whilst Inchmurrin 18-year-old is aged in the “highest quality” casks and has “biscuit and tropical fruit flavours”.
The Madeira Wood Finish is aged in American oak casks, said to contribute “nutmeg” and “marzipan” flavours.
The Island Collection is available in 750ml bottles at 46% ABV and are non-chill-filtered.
Earlier this year Loch Lomond announced its US debut with the national importer.
