Bar manager jailed over bacon-infused vodka
By Amy HopkinsThe manager of an Oklahoma bar has been arrested and questioned for infusing vodka with bacon, according to local reports.
Bacon-infused vodka has caused quite a stir in the US city of Oklahoma
Authorities at the Oklahoma City Police Department arrested Colin Grizzle, on-duty manager at The Pump Bar, after unsealed bottles of vodka containing bacon, beef, pickles, garlic and jalapeños were found in a storage area.
The Pump Bar is known for its infused spirits and cocktails, but authorities said it was in breach of a law that forbids establishments from refilling opened bottles of alcohol.
The bar’s owner, Ian McDermind, is fighting the charge against Grizzle, who spent three days in jail, reports Fox 25. A criminal case is now pending.
