Beam Suntory CMO Kevin George steps down
Beam Suntory has confirmed the departure of its global chief marketing officer Kevin George, who has left the company for a position outside of the spirits industry.

George, who previously held senior positions at Unilever and Seagram, has been part of Beam Suntory’s executive team for six years.
Maker’s Mark, Courvoisier and Hakushu maker Beam Suntory said it will conduct a “thorough search” for George’s successor when he steps down in November this year.
“Kevin George has made the personal decision to leave Beam Suntory in November for an outstanding leadership opportunity outside the spirits industry.
“In his six-year career at Beam Suntory, Kevin’s leadership has been instrumental in our growth and development in so many ways. Kevin has passionately led our efforts to create famous brands while personally developing our marketing leaders and talent around the world.
“Kevin leaves with our very best wishes for great success in his exciting new opportunity. We will conduct a thorough search for his successor.”
In August this year, Beam Suntory appointed former Kraft Heinz Company executive Greg Hughes to the newly created role of general manager, US, with responsibility for the region’s entire marketing division.
