Regal Rogue releases two new vermouth flavours

Australian vermouth brand Regal Rogue has added two new flavours to its portfolio – Daring Dry and Wild Rosé.

Regal Rogue Daring Dry and Wild Rosé are available to buy now in the UK

Regal Rogue Daring Dry is made using a Sauvignon Blanc grape and combining it with native Australian herbs of anise myrtle, quandong and native thyme.

White pepper, olive leaf and juniper are also added to give a “savoury dry” taste with a “hint of saltiness”.

Meanwhile, Regal Rogue Wild Rosé is a blend of Shiraz Rosé bush with native illawara plums, rosella, strawberry gum, rhubarb and kina.

Designed to sip over ice, or with lemon and fresh mint, this expression is described as offering flavours of “tropical fruit” with a “hint of anise and a subtle dry finish.

“As Australia’s first native vermouth, Regal Rogue has been leading the charge in the increasing trend for artisanal vermouth production,” the brand said in a statement.

“Channelling charm with a slight preposition for mischief, Regal Rogue Daring Dry and Regal Rogue Wile Rosé make complimentary contrasting additions to the existing Regal Rogue Bold Red and Regal Rogue Lively White varieties.”

Regal Rogue Daring Dry and Wild Rosé are both available in the UK now from Nicolas, Selfridges, Gerry’s and The Whisky Exchange at an RRP of £18.99 per 500ml bottle.

The brand was founded by Mark Ward in 2012 and is handcrafted and blended in small batches, before being hand wrapped.
