Beam releases limited Booker Noe Bourbon
Beam Suntory is releasing a series of limited edition Bourbon’s celebrating founding distiller Booker Noe’s legacy as the “father” of small-batch Bourbon.
The batch features a custom design label to honour Booker Noe’s role in the creation of small batch Bourbons
The collection, which has been selected by Noe’s son and now Beam master distiller Fred Noe, will feature a series of commemorative expressions with limited edition labels inspired by Booker Noe’s family, his love of Bourbon and experimentation.
The first release in the series will be Bookers Bourbon Batch 2015-1, named Big Man, Small Batch, the label for which will feature an image of Booker Noe in his rocking chair, accompanied by his dog, Dot.
Big Man, Small Batch, which has been bottled non-chill-filtered at cask strength in keeping with the brand, is a seven-year-old whiskey with an abv of 64.3%.
Fred Noe said: “Booker’s was founded on my dad’s dedication to making the very best bourbon there is, and I’m proud to honour him with this limited-edition collection.”
“‘Big Man, Small Batch’ is the first batch to feature these new labels, giving our fans a little more insight into who my dad was and his love for creating great bourbon!”
The remaining commemorative releases will be available in limited quantities throughout the year.
The frst batch is available across the US for US$54.99.
