Purity Vodka aims to ‘elevate creativity’ with new appointment
Purity Vodka has appointed a new vice president of creative and branding to lead the creative direction of the brand and its marketing.
Andres Zuniga will lead Purity Vodka’s brand and marketing strategy in the US
Andres Zuniga, previously group creative director at Colangelo Synergy Marketing, will lead Purity Vodka’s US marketing team and report directly to CEO Andy Glaser.
Glaser said of Zuniga’s appointment: “Andres has an award-winning track record of brand strategy and creative direction for world-class spirits brands, and now he’s poised to help elevate the creativity and impact of our own award-winning vodka brand.
“Our ongoing and tireless commitment to be able to hire the industry’s top talent is a reflection of our brand’s exciting potential and rapid growth in the ultra-premium vodka category. We believe Andres’ creative talent can lead our marketing efforts to inspire new heights.”
The Swedish vodka brand has reported a 100% depletion growth in 2013, with Purity now available in 16 states in the US.
Created by master blender Thomas Kuuttanen, Purity Vodka is unfiltered and 34-times distilled using a copper and gold still at Ellinge Castle in southern Sweden.
