‘World’s first’ honey Tequila available in UK

Cazcabel Tequila, producers of the “world’s first” honey Tequila, is now available on the UK market having agreed a distribution deal with Proof Drinks.

Cazcabel Tequila has agreed a distribution deal with Proof Drinks to sell its three expressions in the UK

The brand currently boasts a portfolio comprised of a Blanco Tequila bottled at 38% abv, plus two flavoured Tequilas, coffee and honey, both bottled at 34% abv.

Cazcabel Blanco is described as being fresh with a citrus edge, while the coffee flavour is said to be a mix of chocolate and coffee with a hint of earthy agave and dry.

The honey flavour is said to offer an earthy, “honest” honey aroma with caramel and smoky notes.

“We have been very impressed with Proof Drinks infrastructure and ability to launch new brands in the UK,” said Eduardi Tova, export manager for Cazcabel Tequila. “We are very excited to be part of their growing portfolio of cutting-edge brands and feel they are the perfect partner for the Cazcabel range.”

Luke Wade, sales director for Proof Drinks, said the response to Cazcabel had been “phenomenal”.

“The initial shipment sold out on pre-order,” he explained. “We are eagerly awaiting our second delivery and are confident this brand will be hugely successful in the UK.”

All three expressions of Cazcabel Tequila are now available from www.proofdrinks.com and through various UK wholesalers at an RRP of £26.99.
