By Becky PaskinSauza Tequila has launched the third instalment of its Make It marketing campaign, this time featuring an attentive cowboy and a horse.
The Sauza Cowboy will build on the success of teh brand’s Make It campaign
Having featured a lifeguard with a puppy, and a fireman with a kitten in previous years, the 2014 Sauza Make It campaign is once again targeting female consumers with a hunky guy and a cute animal.
“For our third installment of the Sauza Make It campaign, we are excited to introduce our brand fans to the Sauza Cowboy and continue to build upon the successes of our two previous campaigns,” said Gary Ross, senior brand director of Tequila at Beam Inc.
“The integrated campaign, which includes robust digital, social and PR content, provides the perfect vehicle for us to directly interact with our consumers throughout the year.”
At the centre of the campaign is a tongue-in-cheek cocktail tutorial featuring the Sauza Cowboy and his horse, who instructs viewers how to make a Sauza-Rita.
Sauza’s Make It campaign has so far received almost 18 million YouTube views to date.
