Funkin introduces Brazilian guarana mixer
Fruit puree brand Funkin has released a new tropical mixer, Funkin Brazilian, which it claims is the first cocktail mixer to contain guarana extract.
Funkin Brazilian is being launched in the off-trade only
A blend of mango, passion fruit, orange juice and guarana seeds – which contain twice the caffeine of coffee beans – Funkin Brazilian is launching in a one-litre pack at online retailers in March before a UK off-trade roll out of a smaller 750ml pack in May.
Designed especially for consumers to mix their own cocktails at home, Funkin Brazilian joins the brand’s existing cocktail mixer range that includes Funkin Mojito and Funkin Strawberry Daiquiri.
“We’re launching Funkin Brazilian at a time when consumer demand for cocktails is greater than ever and this trend looks set to continue.,” said Funkin CEO Andrew King.
“With more and more consumers bringing cocktails into their drinking repertoire and as trends towards at hom entertaining and the desire for new taste experiences continue, we are thrilled to introduce a bespoke cocktail concept, driving even greater excitement in the category.”
